2010 M8???

Im just wondering if m1000 silencers will work for 2010 M8??? they look identical to each other!

Well AC put the M1000 can on the M8 from the factory so you'd think they would?

those are my thoughts exactly but just wanna make sure...can get an m1000 lightweight silencer for cheaper than the m8 HO silencer!!!!

Take if for what it's worth, but I remember someone saying Brandt was running a M1000 can on his 2010 M8 last year at the end of the season.

I have one to try on my 2010, just wish I could find time to get some riding in...

ya...im just lookin at a few different options for cans just to give em a try and see which one works best for me!!!! id like to find a few used ones to save some coin instead of buying new ones and only using them a lil bit.

The 2010 M8 uses the M1000 pipe and silencer from factory yes. So you can use ANY M1000 can on the M8... it will fit. I stole the MBRP can off my dads 2008 M1000 until I pick one up for myself.

I wouldn't go tossing on a speedwerx or slp pipe and can expecting it to work... I wouldn't imagine it is tuned properly for the 2010 M8... but yes, you can use M1000 cans on stock pipe no problem.

thanks for the info!!!! ya im keeping stock pipe since its under warranty, just wanna get rid of the massive suit case under the hood!!!! Anyone know anybody with an m1000 can for sale???? im wanting to try a couple of brands so if you have somethin let me know!!!!

yeah the 2010 m8 has the same pipe has the 1000 they have the same bend at the end of the pipe so it should work im pretty sure

anyone know what engine mods will void warranty on a 2010 m8? can? pipe?
