tps sensor 2016 pro rmk 800

hi i have a high idle issue with my 800 axys i adjusted the tps to a .700 base and a .940 idle and wot was 4.27 , the machine still idles high around 3200 . should i replace tps sensor?the sled runs great otherwise .also if i replace sensor can i calibrate it the same way using a volt meter ?thanks for any help would like to fix myself

Try running the TPS base to .690 and the idle back to .940.
It seems to help lower to the 1750-1800 idle..Anything above 2000 and it's not going to go into reverse

IMO with a idle RPM of 3200 you have something else going on. I dont think anymore fine tuning with the TPS is going to lower your idle 1200-1400 rpm. I would make sure nothing is hanging up on the throttle linkage and its in fact returning all the way to the throttle stop. If thats ok, check for an air leak around the intake, case halves and crank seal.

On a side note: You can adjust your TPS idle setting up or down from .940 (.930-.950) but if you start changing the base setting your going to effect the fuel trim through out the entire rpm range. Eric

Is the free play at the throttle block set correctly, if the cable is to tight it would rev higher just like press on the throttle a little bit.
