just wondering how to get this guage off it’s kind off rattling so might find some thin rubber or something to make it less annoying. Can I get it off without taking the screws out on the windshield area and sticking fingers underneath?

Last time I hit a tree and mine came off it appeared to only have tabs on the sides holding it on. It immediately went back in when I grabbed it and pushed it back in.

I thought by removing mine it might turn that rattle to be a bigger issue.
I decided to run a strip of gorilla tape across the top. Lasted a full season and rattle was gone.

Tabs are on sides. Going to fix mine as well. Just acquired an 18 Mountain Cat and it drives me nuts.

Can you do it by reaching underneath the magnetic glove box

So you have to push the tabs in between where the holes are. And do the have to be pushed inward from the outside?

Just reach under.. I put silicone around mine and put it back.. silent and still now

I did get it out. I wasn’t pressing in the right spot before. We may adhesive foam we have and sandwich it in there

Do you just put it on the the edge of the plastic circle that thing clips into then?

I put it on the gauge side, but yeah.. just to make it a little thicker so the clips hold it in properly..

Ok gotcha thanks i can see where it kinda rubs may just put it there
