So, I bought a 2014 M8 and along with it (not installed) was a y pipe and pipe, and PC5 w/mapping.

My question is, if I install the y pipe, pipe, and add a jaws can...will I need the PC5 w/mapping? I don't want to have to install the PC5 and mess w/the electronics.

Thoughts?

TIA

Yes you will need a programmer with a Jaws pipe. I highly recommend a Boondocker. I had a PC5 take out my ECU. $2800 CAD.
Make sure you have the right pipe for your sled. They are different. You may need a spacer in the pipe that's why its important to get the right one.

Ok, thanks for the advice all! Might just sell the y pipe, pipe and PC5 and just go with a can. It's my sons sled and he doesn't need more power at this point, he just needs seat time.
