Not familiar with your particular model, but on previous years, the fuel pump suction hose that came out of the bottom of the crankcase, when a red rubber hose was substituted for the original rubber/fiber hose, the red rubber hose would kink when the engine heated up, at a bend, and cutoff the suction from the crankcase that moved the fuel in the fuel pump. The idle may also be adjusted too low making it hard to start due to lack of sufficient fuel flow at idle.
