I have a 2010 m8 with a Float shock on the rear suspension. The sled has approx 2500 miles and I know it will be due for a rebuild soon.

Has anyone rebuilt their shock on their own? I have seen videos on rebuilding Floats for mountain bikes but none for snowmobiles. To me it appears the primary difference is size of shock and the procedure to rebuild would therefore be real similar.

Anyone?

You can do an "airside" service very easily. You need to get is two little pouches of the fox float fluid, they have them on the website. Doing a full overhaul is a little more involved.
