new camo track??

if its supposed to create a jet effect that means its gonna moving and churning the snow underneath you towards the center. instead of packing the snow in place creating a solid base, not good for slow speed boondocking or trying to reverse in deeper snow. i'm gonna keep going with the challenger.

On my dads tnytro we switched from old style camo extreme 2.5 to the new the style. I personally will be searching around for the old style when i need a new one. the new style is softer and paddles started bending over fairly quickly, the old style was perfect durometer for turbo units and its been working great on my n/a sled also without the jagged tips it sucks in hardpack for starting and stopping.

In canada they are 800 , hardly matter the length. They are only in 286 so for guys with 3 inch drivers we would have to spend another 400. Man why cant the manufacturers just decide.. 286 or 3 inch. What possible difference could there be? Pick one ! Ive heard of ppl running the wrong drivers... not sure if its a good idea or not.

This Ascent/Peaks track looks heavy. IMO. Also makes me think "Mavrik" for some reason. The light weight of the Power Claw is what I love about it when comparing it to the old Camo Extreme.

I can feel the weight of the CE when flicking the sled around. Feels like a big gyro effect on my arms and upper body, wares me out faster.

I'm not seeing it on Tracks USA? So they won't have this in a 3.0 pitch?

Its not on the main site, they have it listed under they're price list.

They got back to me today, just said that the track was just released and don't have any info yet....

got one inbound to me soon as tracks usa gets em ,, probly in august.

is that yamaha track and this new peak the same?
same exact ? lug height,, support towers ,,
said the 15 wide get center punched for polaris ,, 16 will be normal ( hole less)

Yep... Looks like a trencher. But we wont know for sure till mid to late season.?

I like the idea of the 2.5" lug tho!

Pun intended! Llol

Wouldn't it be a better design if the paddles threw the snow to the outside wall of the trench where the snow is not moving thus propelling the sled forward more?

If its throwing it to the center the snow is moving in the trench and its just moving with the moving snow. So its all moving in the center of the trench.?

It's like rowing a boat going up stream! the sides are moving the wrong way! But if you were rowing going down stream you'd haul some azz!

I just got off of a 1 hr phone call with Camoplast...

I'll post up some info in the next week on this track.

Needless to say... I'll be running a 154" x 15 x 2.5" x2.86" pitch Peaks track on my sled this season. They will be avail in 15 and 16 wide, 2.86 AND 3.00 pitch versions.

NICE!!

So you liked what you heard?? Well that stinks cause I just bought a camo extreme yesterday!

I may have to look into one of these. I was looking at the 155" CE for my sled, but the Peak has peaked an interest. Hell, I've changed just about everything else.

not to start anything but i didnt hear 3.0 pitch mentioned from tracksua. but if you got it from camoplast dirrectly then ,, unless they were mistaken ,,
agreed on the 15 and 16 wide though

still waiting for it to show up
